A lawyer with more than 17 years of experience advising companies in the real sector on corporate, contractual, labor and tax matters. He has served on several boards of directors and currently serves as legal manager for various companies, leading comprehensive advisory processes, regulatory compliance and contract structuring. He is a lawyer specialized in Tax Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, holds a postgraduate degree in Insolvency from Universidad de los Andes, and has training as a SAGRILAFT and PTEE compliance officer, conciliator, and in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
A certified public accountant and one of the firm’s leading references in the Colombian foreign exchange regime, compensation accounts, obligations before Banco de la República, foreign exchange information reporting, and accounting matters related to international operations. His career spans tax auditing, consulting, comptrollership, accounting, customs and taxation, advising national, foreign and multinational companies in sectors such as services, oil & gas, trade and manufacturing. Before ALTUM Legal Partners, he was part of PricewaterhouseCoopers (2007-2018), leading the international exchange practice at PwC Legal and Tax Services from 2013. He holds an accounting degree from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada and a specialization in Tax Sciences from Universidad Central.
A lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia, with hands-on experience in litigation and legal advisory in labor, civil, administrative and corporate matters. She supports the drafting of legal opinions, contract review and structuring, and follow-up on filings before authorities such as the tax authority and Banco de la República.
She supports the firm’s clients in planning, complying with and defending their tax obligations, assisting the tax team in handling requirements and proceedings before the tax authority.
